Winter Moon

Nearing the end of our lunar year is, pipoonwekiilhswa ‘Winter Moon’. This is the month and time of year that we all have prepared for and look forward to. The cold of winter is here, and daylight has become short. This is a time of winter gathering with friends and family where we tell stories, learn lessons, play games, enjoy meals together, and plan ahead. The earth is dormant, as are most trees and animals at this time of year.
